Praia Da Rocha Holiday
Praia da Rocha was one of the first tourist developments in the Algarve and is now the second biggest resort. It has everything you could possibly want from your holiday, and probably more. Beaches
Praia da Rocha boasts one of the most beautiful beaches - literally the 'beach of the rock', it is a wide sandy expanse framed by jagged sea cliffs and giant outcrops of red and yellow sandstone, worn into strange shapes by the sea and wind. Praia do Vau is an outstanding beach between Alvor and Praia da Rocha.
Shopping
The best nearby shopping is in Portimao, where you'll find all the traditional goods you could hope for. But Praia da Rocha can hold its own too - with a hypermarket and plenty of tourist shops.
Nightlife
In the evenings choose from the range of bars, restaurants and discos. There is also a casino at the Hotel Algarve if you're feeling lucky!
