Pelekas Holiday
If you come to Pelekas purely to unwind amidst glorious sunsets, turquoise seas and steep, pine-shaded hills, you won't be disappointed. This small, typically Corfiot hill village attracts tourists partly due to the popularity of neighbouring Glyfada on the coast.
Beaches
Although Pelekas is located up in the hills, the little beaches of Kontoyialos and Gialiskari can be reached by steep lanes and tracks approximately 500-metres long. Watersports are available all along the coast.
Shopping
There are several supermarkets and gift shops in Pelekas.
Nightlife
Pelekas is a very low-key and relaxed hill side resort where nightlife is minimal.
Local Specialities
Pelekas is a quiet little village only recently opening up to tourists, with just a handful of restaurants. Try some authentic Corfiot cuisine in the local tavernas.
