Jandia Holiday
The modern, upmarket resort of Jandia, which lies on the southeast tip of the island, is sandwiched between barren hills and a fabulous coastline. This resort attracts guests from all over Europe and is a popular spot for naturists. The spectacular beach seems to stretch on forever. As with anywhere on this island, it's a paradise for beach lovers and those wanting to immerse themselves in a world where sunbathing, reading, relaxing and the occasional swim are your holiday dreams.
Beaches
The soft sands of Jandia follow the coast for an incredible 32 km. The coastal breezes make them a brilliant choice for experienced windsurfers, while the calm, warm waters make it popular with families.
Shopping
Tourist shops line the beach front. Amongst these look out for some tax-free bargains, such as perfumes and electronics (but keep an eye out for those alternative brand names). There is also one fairly large and ever-expanding shopping centre.
Nightlife
Evenings in Jandia are all about good food, good wine and good company. There are a number of lively bars and cafes located along the beach front, while the centre of town is host to a few late night bars.
Local Specialities
There is a small concentrated selection of good restaurants and tapas bars, offering both local and international cuisine. Why not try some of the more traditional culinary delights which can be found at Morro Jable?
