Hanioti Holiday
Hanioti is a bustling village on the Kassandra Peninsula, westernmost of three, pointing like Neptune's trident into the blue waters of the Aegean. It is about 100km from Greece's second city - Thessaloniki, and its villages still display a traditional Macedonian-style. If you like authenticity in your holiday then the typically Greek scenery and ambience found here will be just what you're looking for!
Beaches
Set on the Kassandra Peninsula, you'll be captivated by the beauty of Hanioti's sandy beaches (most offering at least some watersports) and the green hills rising inland.
Shopping
There are a good selection of souvenir shops in Hanioti, selling ceramics, jewellery, leather, clothes and tourist trinkets. Ideally, avid shoppers should put aside a day to visit the high streets of Thessaloniki.
Nightlife
Most nightlife centres around the newly pedestrianised village square, where you can find restaurants and bars. In general, the entertainment is low-key and hotel based but the village square boasts a few lively bars.
Local Specialities
As well as the usual selection of tavernas and pizza restaurants, Hanioti also offers great pastry shops and ice cream parlours too.
