Kalithea Holiday

The shallow waters along the beach of pale, golden sand make Kalithea popular with families. There are stunning sea views across the Sithonia Peninsula, but a steep hill from the beach may be unsuitable for the less mobile. Some areas of beach have shingle and stone on entering the water. 100km away is Greece's second city - Thessaloniki, well worth a visit if only for its fascinating museums.

Beaches

The pale, golden sands that stretch along the beaches of Kalithea are ideal for families and those that wish to soak up the marvellous Greek sunshine.

Shopping

Kalithea's shopping offers all the basics, clothes and tourist trinkets. The local speciality honey is delicious and definitely worth a try.

Nightlife

Kalithea's nightlife is very busy in July and August, with lively bars and open-air discos. Live entertainment can also be found but the resort does tend to wind down from September, throughout the winter months.

Local Specialities

The resort offers a fine selection of restaurants with a wide range of cuisine, from local specialities to traditional English meals. A selection of wines are also available, with Macedonian types being particularly popular.
