Portinatx Holiday

It's easy to see why Portinatx was chosen as the setting for the film South Pacific, with its pretty coves, sandy beaches and crystal clear waters. Situated approximately 28km northeast of Ibiza Town, at the north of the island, the resort is very compact with its three beaches, shops, bars and restaurants all within walking distance.

Beaches

There are three main beaches in Portinatx. S'Arenal Grand and S'Arenal Petit are nearest to the resort centre, while Es Port beach is at the north end of the resort. They all boast fine sand and are easy to reach, a sunseeker's delight.

Shopping

The resort centre includes some small supermarkets, souvenir, leather and fashion shops. Be sure to check out the Hippy Market selling a colourful array of accessories and trinkets which takes place on Sundays.

Nightlife

Portinatx is relaxed by day and lively by night, with a number of bars and restaurants providing music and entertainment to suit everyone.

Local Specialities

Portinatx offers a good selection of mainly Spanish cuisine in good quality restaurants. There is also a number of fast food outlets.
