San Antonio Bay Holiday
20km west of Ibiza Town, the resort area known as San Antonio Bay is less frantic than its namesake across the harbour, but still manages to offer non-stop fun for people of all ages. Families will enjoy its small, gently sloping beaches and clear blue sea. There's accommodation to suit all tastes, from relaxed family holidays to lively summer breaks. The laid-back atmosphere of the Bay compliments the party vibe of the town, though it's still very convenient for the neighbouring nightlife should you wish to partake.
Beaches
There are a few small and gently sloping beaches in the resort, offering watersports in high season. Many more beaches can be reached by ferry or car, of which Cala Bassa, Cala Conta, and Cala Tarida are all worth a visit.
Shopping
San Antonio Bay is ideal for souvenir shopping and beachwear. However, San Antonio town offers a greater selection of local ceramics, leather goods and jewellery for the more serious shopper.
Nightlife
The Bay is still very convenient for the town's nightlife: buses and ferries circle the bay, and bicycles and cars can be hired. San Antonio town centre has a variety of bars and clubs, while those seeking a more relaxed atmosphere will be content with what San Antonio Bay has to offer.
