But despite this feeling of peaceful calm, other attractions are never far away; the park is only 18 minutes drive from St Andrews, the home of golf and Dundee, Scotland’s city of Design is four miles away.

Facilities on site or nearby include free Wifi for all visitors, a comprehensively equipped laundry, shops and pubs within ten mins walks and fourteen acres of parkland including two playgrounds and a wildlife pond. Tentsmuir Forest is a short walk from the caravan park – the forest covers fifty square miles including long stretches of sandy beach and is a perfect location for dog walking, mountain biking or family picnics. Tayport is surrounded by excellent golf courses and for those looking for shops, cinemas or a range of great restaurants and pubs, Dundee is only a 10 minute drive away. The surrounding towns and villages of Fife offer a range of fruit farms and a number of local vendors producing their own cheese, meats and shellfish.

Getting to the park couldn’t be simpler. Trains on the East Coast mainline stop and Leuchers and Dundee, both a short taxi ride away. Dundee airport is also similarly close by and has scheduled flights from London Stansted. For drivers the park is easy to access and there is plenty of parking available on site.

The park offers holiday caravans for hire, or caravans to buy. Open from March to January each year, caravans can be hired on a short or long term basis. If you are working in the area to staying for a sporting event, a long term hire is a cost effective accommodation option.
