Farimont Hotels & Resorts unveils new seafood bar and grill in London

The new restaurant and oyster bar in the Savoy Hotel, inspired by the twenties and thirties, in true Art Deco style, is situated in a prime location and offers panoramic views of the Thames and major landmarks of London.
Kaspar’s was designed by Robert Angell Design and blends perfectly with the style of the hotel, thanks to the marble floors, Art Deco chandeliers, fine carpets and the play of light on the walls.

Chef James Pare orchestra flavors, surprising the palate with dishes, like the countless interpretations of the salmon. Basic ingredients on the menu are fresh and smoked fish, oysters and caviar as well as lamb chops or beef, thanks to the grill. Real twists are the desserts like rice pudding with vanilla and gooseberries.

To celebrate the launch, Jonty Hurwitz, an artist who resided at the hotel, was commissioned to create a new sculpture, dedicated to the restaurant: Kaspar the cat, is the last work of his Generation Pi, the series of sculptures that expresses the anamorphic relationship between humans and technology and has enjoyed unprecedented media interest around the world, with over 2 million pages and 500,000 views on YouTube.
